Terms of Service for Hebron Connect

Welcome to Hebron Connect! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using Hebron Connect, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 14 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

• If you are under the legal age, you may only use Hebron Connect under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

• By using the Services, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.

2. Account Registration & Security

• You must create an account to access most features of Hebron Connect.

• You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration.

  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

• You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account.

3. Use of Services

You agree to use Hebron Connect in a lawful and responsible manner. Specifically, you must not:

• Use the Services for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.

• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.

• Share harmful, offensive, or misleading content.

• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the platform’s operation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Community Rooms

• Room owners and admins are responsible for managing their members and shared content.

• Room members must respect the rules set by room admins and the general Hebron Connect community guidelines.

• Content shared in rooms remains the responsibility of the member who posted it.

5. Financial Features

• Each room may have its own wallet and contribution system.

• Mobile money integrations (MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money) are processed through third-party providers.

• We are not a bank. Funds in room wallets are for group contributions and managed through linked mobile money services.

• Hebron Connect is not liable for:

  • Payment delays or failures caused by third-party providers.

  • Disputes between members regarding contributions or withdrawals.

6. Events & Announcements

• Members can create and share events, announcements, and documents within rooms.

• Event creators are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of event details.

• Hebron Connect does not endorse or guarantee events created by users.

7. Fees & Payments

• Some features may be free, while premium features (if introduced) may require payment.

• Fees will be clearly communicated before purchase.

• Payments are processed securely through authorized providers.

• All purchases are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

• Our Content: Hebron Connect and all related logos, trademarks, and designs remain the property of Hebron Connect.

• Your Content: You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a license to use it solely for the purpose of operating the Services.

• You may not copy, distribute, or modify our platform without prior written consent.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our [Privacy Policy]. Please review it to understand how we collect and use your information.

10. Disclaimers

• Hebron Connect is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

• We do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

• We are not responsible for:

  • Loss of data due to user error or third-party failures.

  • Actions of other members within your rooms.

  • Issues arising from third-party payment providers.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Hebron Connect will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to use the Services in the 12 months prior to the claim (if any).

12. Termination

• You may close your account at any time through the app or by contacting support.

• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services.

• Termination does not affect rights or obligations that have already accrued (e.g., pending transactions).

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
